The Goldin Foundation for Excellence in Education recognizes and rewards educators who have made outstanding contributions in their classrooms, schools and communities.  The Foundation seeks to foster the respect for and appreciation of educators, and it also seeks to retain quality educators and attract others to the profession. The Foundation will share best practices in education that can be replicated or adapted.

Established in 1990 as a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization, the Goldin Foundation for Excellence in Education focuses its attention in 3 major areas.

 

1. Goldin Foundation Exemplary Projects Awards: recognition awards given to projects of excellence having potential of replication and/or adaptation.  (2016-present)

2. Goldin Foundation Excellence in Education Awards:  awards to individuals or teams of educators in each participating regional collaborative of school districts. (1990-2016)

3. Goldin Foundation Educators Network:  continued professional development opportunities for  participating districts utilizing the expertise of Goldin Foundation award recipients. (1990-present)
